Joe's setup is on a modified 1296cc 4 cylinder engine. The manifold is a custom one off design of his own. A trick example of ingenuity is his cold air box design and where/how he mounted his air inlet temperature sensor. The airbox is mounted on the side of the radiator side board, with a K&N filter mounted in front of the radiator. The throttle body is from a Honda Civic 1500 engine. The assortment of components needed to assemble an intake manifold is relatively straight forward. In Joe's case, he used flanges he cut off of an old stock intake manifold to solve the problem of a perfect mating to the head. (two 'figure 8 pieces in this pic).
