  The electrical Shelf Area

elecbox_as_purchased.jpg (16793 bytes)    Before I even touched anything, the electrical area was a bit scary.
The heater box was out (half anyway) and what are those?
      Air horns?
elecbox_redbased.jpg (19117 bytes)    Very carefully, everything was unbolted, lifted up in place and the surfaces, sanded and primered red. Tedious, but worth it for a good paint base.
elecbox_grnbase_pw.jpg (18131 bytes)     Now everything was removed for the final green paint work.

The brakes lines were removed, sanded lightly, and painted bright aluminum.

The electrical harness was straightened out and re-wrapped (blue lines).

elecbox_backin_pw2.jpg (18932 bytes)     After putting the pipes back in place, the elec. harness was re-installed, and the freshly re-painted heater box was installed.    (Yes..complete with my customary logo dragon emblem emblazed on the front of the heater box) :-)
