                       Driving Position Compared

The driver's position is very similar, just now you have back and butt support.

 

    The interesting thing to note...
   I think you, like me, usually had a tendency to sit down in the seat and not really sit 'square' to the cushions of the Spitfire seat. With the Miata seat being at least 1" higher minimum, the back position leaves you pretty much in the same 'visual' position. The backs of the legs are fully supported in the Miata seat. AS is the lower Lumbar. The side bolsters are  really nice as well.  Look at the posture of the two photos above. Which one do you think looks more 'rested'
