In all it's un-completed glory, as purchased. Some  rust work was started so long ago, it's started to rust again! You can see the original color, I believe was Limeflower. New air filters, but no back plates or mount bolts. No spare, hey...at least there's an original jack. Not one electrical item works back here.	The little valley that should be where the trunk floor meets the back wall, is non-existent. It's totally full of rust dust and metal chips. Rear electrical wiring? Well, there is a pile of wires back here anyway.
After clean up, and a couple of cans of spray paint, it's starting to look presentable.	Here you can see after a complete rewiring and harness re-wrapping, I've moved the wiring to the top of the rear panel (the light blue line running just under the trunk opening) rather than having it on the floor in the trough.
Well the trunk carpet kit was from an EBay win. Well... I know why it was so cheap. I made it fit, even though it didn't originally. A little inventive trimming and a lot of test fitting, turned out quite nicely. The side boards are wedge fitted at the moment. I think I'm going to hinge them in the middle for easy access and extra storage. I think I'm going to mount elastic bands to hold emergency gear and tools from rolling around. I even trimmed the carpet to fit all around the gas feed and vent lines. The piece of carpet that fits the wall (against the rear bumper) has a piece of vinyl sewn in that pulls up over the lip under the edge of the trunk seal (nice touch!). I glued this in so I can now simply flip the carpet up for access to the floor and wiring. The little black boxes on the panel separating the interior and trunk are protective plastic 'tunable' boxes that protect the speakers.
It's a heck of a before and after 'ay! Now all I need is a trunk light (top center- dangling wire) a tire to put on the spare wire wire I got from EBay as well. A spare tire cover was included with the carpet kit. I made a matching Biscuit vinyl covered case for my super long, safety knock-off wrench. I plan to make one for the jack, as well as a shaped, custom fitted tool bag.
