The new carpet is in
| After installing
several carpet set, this was a new one for me. I have no idea who made this carpet kit, or
the source that supplied it, as it came with the car when I purchased it. The fit is
not bad at all (compared to some I've seen). The floor pieces have a foam backing
glued on as insulation. The edges are trimmed in a woven nylon type material. The seat
floor/tunnel area is a three piece design, but fits well. It's a good heavy cut pile.
Even the rear wheel arch sections have a stitched in seam, to correctly fit the curves of the wheel well, rather than being a single flat sheet that needs to be stretched to fit properly. Over all, It was a straight forward installation. |

The driver's side does have rubber heel mat sewed into the floor. The A post carpet piece even has a rubber pad, where your left floor rests against the wall. (not visible here) |
