This is a Triumph GT6 engine mounted in a Triumph Spitfire. . A modified Spitfire front engine plate was used so the stock shock towers remain. The whole engine is moved back 6" and dropped 1.5", so no GT6 bonnet bulge needed.

I'm using a Mustang 60mm throttle body, port injected (6x 14 lbs injectors), custom homemade manifold (even uses a stock Lucas PCV valve), crank fired wasted spark ignition, (VB921's built into the bottom of the coil pack) 106 amp alternator, super sized aluminum radiator with custom reserve tank at highest point, TR6 hot heater water take-off, battery turned 90 degrees.  Estimated (via weight vs time) HP is roughly 136bhp at the rear wheels.

This puppy pulls like a freight train all the way to redline!

(click on the pic for a full size version... (roughly 2272x1704)
