    The Black Beasty - 1970 GT6+

The First daylight after the resurrection

Although the interior is not completely in yet, a nice day popped up here so I just had to roll the Beast out into the sunlight for a couple of photos.

the busted plastic grill was replaced with a metal one

The rear lights and 'level' bumpers do look a lot better now!

The muffler is in excellent shape, must have been recently installed by the p.o.

new roto-flex donuts, bearings, bushes, etc etc      Those are 215/50-13 BF Goodrich tires on 13"x8" rims
Also note the new steel fuel line exiting the gas tank.  Also notice the great condition of this frame!

Although the welds are ugly, the metal floor repairs are very strong. That's red marine grade primer not rust.

The windshield seal seems new, and has new chrome trim installed

Brake and clutch cylinders are in great shape, along with a new battery installed

The last shot here, I just had to throw in this shot. It's a good comparison in styling.
Yes.... that's Big Red there in the foreground. Whitey (my '75 Spit) is under the cover and the orange in the lower right is OBie, my '73 MG BGT.
