   The dashboard wood and veneer was in good shape, the varnish was simply badly cracked up. It took an hour or more, but with a little patience and a single edge razor blade, all the old varnish was slowly chipped off.

I just like these shots of all the wiring. Surprisely they were not as stiff as I expected for 35+ years old.

As usual, all the gauges were stripped down, cleaned and repaired as needed. After re-assembly, the new 12 coat polyurethane wood dash looks great!
